CAD Drafter
The candidate will be responsible for developing AutoCAD detailed drawings for structural safety equipment design and layout for various commercial projects.
Responsibilities- Create and develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for structural safety equipment.
- Design and layout drawings for various commercial projects.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications through CAD detailing.
- Conduct site walkthroughs to gather and document project requirements.
- Produce redline drawings and update them as needed.
- Complete documentation of safety equipment layout.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with 6-10 years of experience.
- Experience in CAD detailing, drafting, and design.
- Understanding of structural detail drawings and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with mechanical, civil, and architectural engineering principles.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Revit, MEP systems, and schematic drawings.
- Ability to create and update BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Competence in reviewing and updating redline drawings.
This position is based in an office setting, with approximately 20% travel required to various construction sites across the country to document project requirements. The role involves interacting with a variety of professionals in the field and requires adaptability to different site conditions.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
