Location: North Charleston, SC (100% Onsite)
Contract: 6 Months |
Shift: 1st (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $74 / hr (W2) |
Role OverviewDevelops, integrates, and certifies aircraft structural and interior payload systems (monuments, galleys/lavatories, lighting, cargo compartments) across the product lifecycle using 3D CAD tools and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Integration: Create and modify interior payload components using 3D CAD.
- Testing & Validation: Analyze and integrate test results to meet structural and safety specifications.
- Supplier & Regulatory Management: Work with suppliers and regulators (FAA/EASA) to show certification compliance.
- Production Support: Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and program teams.
- Education: B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or Materials preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years in engineering design, integration, or certification (or Master's + 3 years).
- Preferred: Experience with FAA Part 25 / EASA standards and aircraft interior commodities/monuments.
