PositionAirplane Electronic Engineers (Associate) – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) – 787 Electronic Systems (Avionics, Integrated Modular Avionics, Network Systems, & Electrical Subsystems) team located in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Position Responsibilities- Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Design hardware, software and interface specifications.
- Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 or more years’ experience with airplane systems.
- Experience with Electrical Load Analysis.
- Familiarity with Engineering requirements:
Definition / Verification. - Experience with airplane certification or military specifications.
