We are seeking an Environmental Engineer with experience in air permitting and environmental compliance to support industrial and manufacturing clients. This role is responsible for preparing air permit applications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing technical guidance on air quality requirements for new and existing facilities throughout the United States.
Responsibilities- Prepare and manage air permit applications, including construction, operating, and Title V permits.
- Perform air emissions calculations and prepare emissions inventories.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, permit documentation, and regulatory correspondence.
- Support clients during regulatory inspections and agency communications.
- Coordinate with project teams to deliver permitting and compliance projects on schedule.
- Stay current on environmental regulations and advise clients on compliance strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in air permitting and environmental compliance.
- Knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Title V, NSR/PSD, NESHAP, and NSPS regulations.
- Experience supporting industrial or manufacturing facilities.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and project management skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain is a plus.
