The Opportunity:

As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand Naval government programs, systems, and material specifications. You know that using MIL-STDs is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We’re looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement experience. You will lead, plan for, manage, and execute all efforts encompassing the ILS elements and their related functional areas, as well as across other technical functional areas such as supply, technical support, ILS certifications, and provisioning, to help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

As a logistics engineer on our team, you’ll use your logistics subject matter expertise to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. In this role, you’ll use your engineering, logistics, and materials knowledge to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You’ll work closely with civilian GS-15 and other senior team members to grow your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

Experience providing support and submitting recommended modifications to the initial production provisioning baseline to ensure effective tracking, reporting, and management in support of production and procurement of Naval systems Experience guiding product support planning, including spares analysis, multi-level maintenance requirements, training plan development, and product support documentation Experience providing Technical Manual (TM) redlines and coordinating document development with design engineers and technical writers Knowledge of configuration management (CM) tools, processes, functions, and tasks, including CM planning, implementation, and management, configuration status accounting, and configuration control boards Ability to plan, analyze budgets, and manage the functions and tasks of supply support Ability to provide technical assistance and guidance to external supply agencies item managers on requisitions, repairs, forecasted stocking levels, and funding levels Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
