Overview
Job Title: PRN MRI Technologist
Location: Primary site – West Ashley; occasional coverage at Tricom Diagnostic/North Charleston as needed
Schedule: Primarily weekends, with potential weekday shifts to cover PTO or sick leave
Pay: PRN premium plus $10 weekend shift differential
Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans efficiently, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
- Screen patients for ferrous and RF-sensitive materials and prepare them for procedures.
- Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain accurate positioning and exposure techniques.
- Follow Med Quest policies, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure safety and compliance.
- Participate in ongoing training, cross-train in additional modalities, and maintain certification.
- Build education files on interesting cases and contribute to team learning.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
- Licensure: Active state licensure (where applicable), CPR certification.
- Experience: 0+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist (2+ years preferred).
- Skills: IV skills, strong knowledge of MRI procedures and anatomy, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
