Position: Systems Administrator II with Security Clearance
Description
* administering and supporting cisco network hardware, red hat enterprise linux (rhel) systems, and associated software to ensure consistent system availability and optimized performance
* conducting regular monitoring and analysis of network and system performance, promptly identifying and resolving potential issues or security threats
* installing, configuring, and maintaining network/server hardware, operating system updates (specifically rhel), and security patches in compliance with dod standards
* deploying and maintaining containerized applications to support scalable and efficient software solutions
* collaborating with it support teams to troubleshoot technical issues, implement system improvements, and adapt to evolving operational needs #li-ll1 requirements
* five or more years of experience in a network and computer systems administrator role
* bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related discipline
* active dod 8570 iat level ii certification (or higher)
* experience applying security technical implementation guides (stigs) and using the assured compliance assessment solution (acas)
* experience with cisco switching and routing
* experience with red hat enterprise linux (rhel) administration
* experience with deploying and maintaining containerized applications (e.g., docker, kubernetes)
* demonstrated ability to configure, monitor, and maintain complex network and computer systems to ensure operational integrity and continuous connectivity in accordance with dod requirements
* proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues using diagnostic tools and structured support methodologies
* must possess an active secret security clearance with eligibility for ts/sci desired skills
* knowledge of the risk management framework (rmf)
* experience with the enterprise mission assurance support service (emass) clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s. Government, this position will require u.s. Citizenship as well as, a u.s. Government security clearance at the secret level with top secret / sci eligibility travel requirements
