Software Tester​/QA

description

• developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for software packages
• applying testing methodologies to validate functionality, performance, and security of software packages
• conducting rigorous testing across multiple environments to support release cycles and ensure system stability
• utilizing test automation tools and frameworks to streamline regression and functional testing
• tracking, documenting, and reporting defects using industry-standard defect tracking systems
• collaborating with developers, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues
• providing surge support to aid in development efforts when needed

• experience in software quality assurance and test reporting
• excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• experience with defect tracking systems such as jira
• strong understanding and experience with java and python languages
• ability to work in a secure, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
• active secret clearance, with ts/sci eligibility

• bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• experience in testing dod or federal government platforms
• knowledge of agile development methodologies and devops practices
• eight or more years of experience preferred

src is a contractor for the u.s. Government, this position will require u.s. Citizenship as well as, a u.s. Government security clearance at the top secret / sci level
