Job Title
Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a cybersecurity professional for a key role.
Job DescriptionThe role involves verifying configuration management and tracking security update implementation to systems using automated tools. It also includes adhering to configuration and change management policies, ensuring systems operate in compliance with security policies, and performing cybersecurity testing and analysis. The position requires supporting the Information System Security Manager and Cybersecurity Lead in meeting all RMF documentation and continuous monitoring requirements.
Additionally, the role involves collaborating with various teams to meet technical and policy security controls and maintaining security reporting compliance requirements.
Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance and be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI clearance. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and nine years of cybersecurity experience is required. Current CISSP certification and a DoD 8570-compliant IAT II certification (SSCP or Security+CE with appropriate CE/OS certificate) are mandatory. Experience with eMASS, SSPs, POAMs, ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, Security Checklists, and STIG Viewer is necessary.
Strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a self-starter mentality are also required.
This position will require U.S. citizenship as well as a U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level.
Travel RequirementsUp to 10% travel is required.
