Head of Information Technology

Confidential Executive Search | Southeast U.S.

A well-established organization with a significant presence across the Southeast is seeking a Head of Information Technology to lead its technology strategy, operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business applications. This senior leader will partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business priorities, improve operational efficiency, strengthen security and reliability, and support long-term growth.

• Develop and execute the organization’s technology strategy and roadmap.
• Lead IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, applications, and technology operations.
• Oversee major technology implementations, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Establish technology policies, standards, security practices, and risk-management processes.
• Manage technology vendors, strategic partners, budgets, and resources.
• Lead, mentor, and develop an IT organization of approximately 100 employees supporting employees across multiple states

• Partner with executive and operational leaders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable business value.
• Ensure reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology services.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading teams and complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong background in technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
• Excellent executive communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate complex technology issues into clear business priorities and ROI.
• Strategic, collaborative, and results-oriented leadership style.
