Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level
B) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shifts, including nights and weekends. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position is 100% onsite.
- Performs maintenance on factory equipment.
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment using knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.
- Responds to requests for equipment repair.
- Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.
- Works under limited supervision.
- Must be willing and able to work a variable shift.
- 1+ years experience in equipment maintenance.
- 1+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- 1+ years experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators and/or Power Meters.
- 1+ years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- 3+ years experience in equipment maintenance.
- 3+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- 3+ years experience working with DVM, Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators and/or Power Meters.
- 3+ years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s COI assessment process.

Total RewardsCompetitive base pay and variable compensation. Eligible employees may enroll in benefit programs including health insurance, FSA, HSA, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, paid and unpaid time off. Programs vary by location, date of hire and collective bargaining agreements. Pay ranges $59,000-$65,000.
