Registered Nurse CVOR | North Charleston, South Carolina

A rewarding opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care. This role involves supporting complex open-heart surgeries with a skilled surgical team, delivering critical perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Position Details:

• Contract role based in North Charleston, SC
• 3 openings available
• Shift options include:
  
  • Two positions on 3x12 hour shifts, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
  
  • One position on 3x12 hour night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• On-call responsibility: one 24-hour weekend call per month (Saturday or Sunday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert intraoperative nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
• Maintain sterile environment and follow strict infection control practices
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately

• Active RN licensure with CVOR experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure operating room environments
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
