Assist with the preparation, operation, and maintenance of healthcare simulation and skills lab environments. This position provides students with hands-on experience while supporting simulation-based learning activities.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with simulation and skills lab setup and breakdown
- Prepare rooms, supplies, equipment, manikins, and task trainers for scheduled activities
- Restock, organize, and maintain simulation and skills lab supplies
- Assist with cleaning, laundry, and routine lab upkeep
- Retrieve, prepare, and return equipment and supplies to designated locations
- Follow simulation setup instructions and checklists accurately
- Assist with basic equipment checks and report problems to simulation staff
- Maintain a professional environment and protect confidential simulation information
- Perform other simulation and skills lab duties as assigned
$15/Hour paid on the 15th of the month following the month when the work was performed (e.g. work performed in August, is paid on September 15)
Qualifications- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Be reliable
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Possess good communication and organizational skills
- Be detail-oriented and able to follow written & verbal instructions
- Be comfortable learning basic simulation equipment and technology
- Work independently and as part of a team
$11/Hour paid on the 15th of the month following the month when the work was performed (e.g. work performed in June, is paid on July 15).
ScheduleWork hours will be coordinated with the supervisor based on student's class schedule and simulation lab needs. Students are expected to work their assigned schedule and communicate schedule changes or absences promptly. Students may not work during chapel or regularly scheduled class time, even if the class is cancelled.
Evaluation ProceduresStudents will be evaluated on reliability, punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, quality and completion of assigned tasks, and appropriate care of simulation equipment and supplies. Students are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding simulation activities, scenarios, student information, and assessment materials. Students are also expected to communicate promptly with their supervisor regarding absences or delays and to limit personal cell phone use while working.
