The Difference You Will MakeAs a Kitchen Manager you will manage all back‑of‑house operations, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently, safely, and to the restaurant’s quality standards. This role includes supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining food safety protocols, controlling costs, and ensuring consistent execution of all menu items.
What You’ll Bring- Ability to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure all equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained; report repairs as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate kitchen staff based on business needs.
- Hire, train, and supervise line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and other BOH staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action when needed.
- Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.
- Conduct pre‑shift meetings to communicate specials, menu changes, or safety updates.
- Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of food and kitchen supplies.
- Track inventory levels and reduce waste through proper portioning and storage.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three (3) years of related kitchen management experience required.

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work with long periods of standing and walking throughout the kitchen and service areas. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and crawling; specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus.
WorkEnvironment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a kitchen environment including heat and steam.
Location and Travel:Position will be based in Charleston, SC.
