Retail Assistant Store Manager - Rivers; Outlet

Responsibilities

• Recognizes when team members need coaching and provides immediate coaching when applicable.
• Issues refunds and resolves customer concerns.
• Trains Retail Team Member IV in delivery of new Retail Team Member training.
• Demonstrates mastery in production and customer service management through evaluation.
• Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to a member of store management, appropriate District Manager, and/or Asset Protection department.
• Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
• Leads retail team and store activities in the absence of or at the direction of the Retail Store Manager; see Supervisory Responsibilities below.
• Performs all administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to completing opening/closing duties, making bank deposits, and securing the building at the direction of the Store Manager in accordance with established guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with established safety, security, sales, money handling (as applicable), and record‑keeping procedures and practices as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Verifies that the quality and quantity of merchandise is adequate to obtain sales and production standards.
• Coordinates shipments and makes adjustments to merchandise categories and production schedules as needed.
• Coordinates transportation shipments and reporting on a daily basis.
• Ensures merchandise is priced in accordance with established standards for retail stores as applicable.
• Implements seasonal planograms, floor sets, store signage, and sales promotion activities for retail stores as applicable.
• Optimizes floor space based on product flow to ensure efficient production.
• Assists truck drivers and other agency personnel in performance of their duties.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, available to open and/or close assigned retail location as required, make bank deposits, and secure building to ensure success of the operation.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies at any time as needed.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
