the job?

We’re hiring a goal‑driven and customer‑focused Commercial Lines Producer to join the growing sales team at Trucker Path Insurance (TPI). In this role, you’ll work directly with truckers to understand their risk management needs and provide tailored insurance solutions that support their business and livelihood. You’ll manage a mix of inbound and outbound leads, develop strong customer relationships, and help scale our sales operations as part of a dynamic and fast‑moving team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Commercial Lines Producer will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and building TPI’s reputation as a trusted partner for truck drivers across the country.

  • Manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads from truckers seeking commercial insurance solutions
  • Connect with cold leads supplied by the agency, using thoughtful outreach to spark conversations and identify where we can help
  • Quote new prospects, follow up consistently, and move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Present coverage options, industry insights, and quotes in a clear, consultative, and compelling way
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and the training team to meet and exceed individual and team goals
  • Contribute to a strong sales culture by sharing best practices and helping build a “best‑in‑class” approach to serving truckers
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and coverage changes to better support clients and internal teams
What’s the work location?

You’ll be based out of our stunning, light‑filled headquarters in Northern Charleston, a space designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. You’ll work in‑office five days a week ensuring you have ongoing access to real‑time collaboration, coaching, and the energy of the team as you continue to grow and deliver great work. Our standard office hours are 9am - 5pm, daily.

What’s the earning potential ($$$)?
  • Start with a $40,000 base salary and get ready to earn more, commissions kick in once you’ve officially completed the nesting period.
  • First‑year earnings? Top performers typically bring in $70,000 to $130,000+, and there’s no cap on what you can earn. The more you hustle, the more you take home!
Nesting Period & Growth Checkpoint

All new hires begin with a 40‑day nesting period, designed to give you space to learn, grow, and get confident in your role with the support of your team. This is your runway to ask questions, build momentum, and start spreading your wings.

What are we looking for?
  • Prior experience in sales or customer support (insurance or transportation a plus)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable using CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline and follow‑ups
  • Self‑starter who thrives with minimal supervision and takes initiative to meet goals
  • Positive, coachable, and excited to work in a collaborative, performance‑driven environment
  • Active Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain one prior to start date
