Traveling Construction Foreman

Traveling Foreman - Commercial Construction Our fall protection company is currently seeking an experienced Foreman in Commercial Construction to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be leading the installation of structural steel parts, fall protection systems, railing systems, and other miscellaneous systems. Extensive experience in the construction and installation trades is a must. You will work with a small crew of 2-4 workers.

Weekdays / overnight travel is required. There is some occasional weekend travel. Please do not apply if you are unwilling or unable to travel. Our ideal candidate will have good organization and communication skills. They will also have the desire and capability to take on additional responsibilities and opportunities as needed. A positive attitude, a desire to learn, and a willingness to work hard are necessary.

Company-provided housing is available for employees traveling from out of state; however, all Foremen are required to mobilize from our North Charleston, SC shop and must remain flexible as project schedules may change.

Minimum Requirements include:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction trade(s). Minimum of 5 years Foreman experience. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Experience with boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.

Experience with structural steel installation and rigging is preferred. Ability to comprehend and install per schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and other specifications. The ability to work  ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The person in this role must remain drug-free. A clean background is required for military base access.
