Description:

Main is hiring for a full-time Mechanic at our Charleston, SC location:
Main is seeking a full-time Mechanic; experience with both gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic systems and forklifts. Must have the ability to properly diagnose and repair problems from start to finish, on all aspects of a variety of vehicles. EPA 609 MVAC Certification is desirable.
Job Type: Full-time, hourly, Weekdays
Required experience: Five years (5) verified experience as a mechanic.
- Forklift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift)
- Understand and carry out verbal directions given by a supervisor as well as perform with minimal supervision
- Must be proficient in the use of basic electrical meters and test equipment
- High Level of critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
- Understand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/or hazards signs posted on a job site
- All candidates must submit to drug testing and E-Verification of their right to work in the US
- Reliable transportation a must
- Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards are a must
