This seniority-based union position trains individuals in inspection, repair, and maintenance of railcars with classroom and field instruction. The role includes night shifts, travel for training, and union membership within 60 days of starting work.
Trainees will learn welding and fabrication, and may be asked to obtain a CDL. Lodging is provided and travel is reimbursed per union agreement.
