Position Description

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour. The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is movement of product within the warehouse. This role will also serve as a back‑up delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. This general labor position prioritizes and picks product to fill orders, and physically moves and lifts product weighing up to 150 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork and daily closing of the warehouse.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size, and type, inform management of inventory and supply shortages, and assist in periodic inventory counts.
  • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, obsolete stock or supplies; segregate defective product from the normal flow of inventory; prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
  • Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products up to approximately 50 pounds; handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) exceeding 50 pounds.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
  • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial tasks, such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock, and areas surrounding the building; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms, and assist in daily warehouse closing.
  • Prioritize and pick materials for order fulfillment and stage them for loading.

Qualifications
  • High School or GED degree.

  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, taste, and/or smell. The employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and handle tires exceeding 50 pounds.
