Job Description

The Senior Department Financial Analystwillbe responsible for enabling Information Security and Risk Management(ISRM) solutionsdeliverythrough effective execution ofdepartmentalprocurementandbudget management processes. This role will partner withkeystakeholders,leadership, and cross-functional teams to provide consulting, support, and direction in areas associated with the planning, procurement, provisioning, and financial management of information security solutions.

They are expected to collaborate withcolleaguesand stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met, drive cost optimization opportunities, and contribute to the improvement of operational practices and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner withkeystakeholders to understand specific business processes and objectives, supporting short and long-term strategic planning, solution discovery, and procurement needs.
  • Leadand refineprocurement processes in collaboration with finance,procurement partners,and other key stakeholders,ensuring purchasing activities flow cleanly and support budgetary tracking and reporting.
  • Establish and define processes toensure financial data isaccurateacross workbooks.
  • Managethe departmentalbudgetand projectspend,partnering closely withfunctionalleadersandportfolio managementpartners to ensureweaccurately plan and consistently executeagainst financial targets.
  • Collaborate withportfolioand project management partners toalign project managementprocessesto financial forecasting and reporting requirements.
  • Partner withcorporatefinancetodriveoperational excellence and standards for monthly and quarterlyforecastsandLBE’s (Latest Best Estimates).
  • Support annual Capital Plan,andLong-Range Planning (LRP) activities, ensuringfundingrequests clearly support our definedstrategicobjectives.
  • Developreporting for leadership and key stakeholderstoenable effectivefinancial governance and transparent communications.
  • Meetmonthlywith cross-functional partners to reviewactive project sand proactively manage change orders, renewaltimelines, and planned expenditurestoensuremaximum transparency and alignment and drive effectiveforecasting.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable Abb Vie Corporate (e.g., Finance,Purchasing, OEC, Legal),andIT department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree ina business or financial fieldand6years’ experience OR Master's Degree and5years’ experience OR PhD and0 years’ experience.
  • Respectiveyears of demonstrated experience incorporatefinancialmanagementincluding budgeting, forecasting, and contracting/procurement support.
  • Proven experience inbudgetmanagementand forecasting for complex, multi-faceted organizations.
  • Experienceoperatingwithincomplex procurement processes to drive efficient purchasing and clear alignment with budgetary requirements.
  • Proven ability toestablishand maintain high-quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners.
  • Ability to design impactful financial reporting for both technical and non-technicalcustomersincluding executive audiences.
  • Experience working with enterprise financial systems andtools such as SAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and negotiate projects and priorities across functions and/or organizations, proven experience in situations of conflict resolution, problem solving,and crisis management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present financial information to a variety of audiences, includingexecutiveleadership and stakeholders.
