The Client Service Analyst within Shareholder Services will support client service and relationship management activities for Third-Party Wealth clients and sales partners, with a specific focus on Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).
This role serves as a frontline point of contact for clients and sales channels and requires strong knowledge of the asset management industry, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume client interactions. The analyst will collaborate closely with Sales, Portfolio Management, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.
The role may also support business development and process improvement initiatives related to SMAs, requiring an understanding of the industry, client base, and relevant systems.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and sales channels, managing ongoing client relationships.
- Support client onboarding and lifecycle events.
- Respond to client inquiries related to fund and portfolio information, literature, and account-related needs.
- Act as the point person for client-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Partner closely with Sales teams to provide high-quality service to clients.
- Analyze and resolve client issues independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
- Monitor service issues and elevate as appropriate to ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Support special projects focused on asset development, asset retention, automation, and process improvements.
- Partner with management and other service representatives to develop scalable and effective service models.
- Work closely with trading desks to communicate the status of trading activity across client accounts.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the overall client experience and service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years of relevant client service experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Experience with Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and servicing Financial Advisors strongly preferred.
- Strong client service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with a strong sense of urgency.
- Highly self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and client requests.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point .
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required. Candidates who are not currently licensed must obtain the licenses within the first 60 days of employment.
