Project Engineer, Quality Engineering

The Project Engineer will provide on-site execution support for a high-visibility API capital project within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Project Manager and serves as a key day-to-day execution resource, supporting coordination, documentation, and field activities across engineering, operations, quality, and vendors.

This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role requiring consistent on‑site presence to support equipment installation, utility tie‑ins, issue resolution, and project turnover.

• Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day execution of an API capital project
• Coordinate activities across facilities, process, utilities, validation, QA, EHS, and operations
• Support equipment installation, construction, and field walk‑downs
• Track schedules, action items, and engineering deliverables
• Review and manage drawings, specifications, and change controls
• Coordinate vendors, site access, and field issue resolution
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates
• Support project turnover and documentation hand‑off

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related)
• 5+ years supporting pharma capital projects (API experience strongly preferred)
• Experience in GMP‑regulated environments
• Strong on‑site execution and cross‑functional coordination skills
• Comfortable in a support role reporting to a Project Manager
• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or project scheduling tools
• Prior brownfield or facility retrofit project experience
• Familiarity with change management systems
