Research Scientist
The Associate Scientist I, Engineering will support laboratory-based research and development initiatives focused on product innovation and process optimization. This role works closely with experienced scientists and engineers to advance new product development and improve existing commercial products. The position offers hands‑on laboratory experience within a collaborative, science‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support laboratory experiments related to product development and process optimization initiatives.
- Assist with equipment design, setup, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collect, analyze, and document experimental data in accordance with internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional scientific and engineering teams on ongoing research projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Previous research or hands‑on laboratory experience in an academic or professional setting.
- Experience supporting equipment design, optimization, or troubleshooting activities.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work full time in an onsite laboratory environment.
- Exposure to process chemistry concepts.
- Familiarity with modeling or simulation tools.
- Experience using data analysis software in a laboratory or research setting.
