Job DescriptionThis position reports to the Director, Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis and supports key work streams associated with Abb Vie's Quarterly Earnings Calls, Board of Directors (BOD) & Executive Leadership Team (ELT) packages, Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) Metrics, and Entity Plan. This role liaises with multiple cross‑functional stakeholders within Finance and has opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership through the CFO.
Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of the quarterly earnings package used by Abb Vie Executives / Investor Relations during earnings calls
- Assist with producing key analytics for BOD, ELT, Leadership Forum & other management packages
- Collaborate with Investor Relations to produce analytics that inform LBE, Quarterly Flash, LRP, Plan and BOD package publications
- Support Associate Director, Entity Planning with entity forecast consolidation and modeling for Plan / LBE / LRP, including Intercompany Reconciliations, Deferred Margin analysis and Performance vs Entity reconciliation
- Compile a comprehensive monthly Executive Goal Grading Reporting Package
- Liaison with Procurement to compile a quarterly Consulting spend analysis
- Support Director, Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis in driving high visibility special project(s)
- Assignment Manager for the FDP CFP&A rotation
- Ad-hoc analysis (e.g. P&L profiles, Growth Metrics, R&D Analytics, peer comparison) as required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, required. CPA or MBA a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably across a range of Finance functions.
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills: ability to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear & concise manner.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, required.
- Experience with BPC, Power BI, W-Desk a plus.
