Job DescriptionThe Finance Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and actuals processes for the R&D headquarters team. The role involves portions of the HQ annual expense budgets and works closely with the Assistant Controller, R&D, and the Director of R&D FP&A, as well as R&D functional Finance Directors and the R&D Actuals team. The analyst leads monthly LBE, Plan, and LRP internal demand and capacity processes and serves as the primary point person for the R&D Strategic Resourcing (RDSR) team, engaging with leadership on budget and performance insights.
Responsibilities- Develop the annual Plan, LRP, and LBEs, including P&L and headcount for R&D HQ, for senior management review.
- Operate independently to prepare schedules and relevant analysis for each planning cycle and to support management reviews.
- Complete the monthly close process and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely actual results, variance commentary, and communication of issues versus benchmarks.
- Provide management with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance and risk.
- Lead the internal demand and capacity processes: align with controllers and finance directors, implement process improvements, manage capacity files, and oversee data accuracy in Power BI.
- Assist on an ad‑hoc basis with requests or slides related to R&D LBEs, Plan, and LRP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), database applications, SAP, BPC; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
