Job Title:
Lab Tech III - LIMS Systems Analyst - 100% Remote
Length of Contract
: 10 months (Possible extension)
This position is fully remote. Normal business hours - CST working hours.
Responsibilities- Supports global laboratories with ongoing projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), in particular Thermo Sample Manager.
- Interprets laboratory test methods for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results.
- Compiles custom calculation fields in LIMS (Sample Manager) which are needed to calculate laboratory results in the system.
- Chromatographic Data Systems (CDS, such as Empower) are a secondary goal for this resource.
- Draft documents which will serve as guidelines for the laboratory to use calculations and report results.
- Follows calculation validation processes related to laboratory quality applications.
- Reports to the Quality Systems support team.
- Laboratory analyst with chromatography experience, preferably in Sample Manager LIMS.
- Lab administration, supporting quality systems used by the laboratory.
- Understanding of CDS, such as Empower or Chromeleon.
- Scientific background with experience in the following analytical test methods.
- Multi-site or multi-stakeholder project work supporting laboratory quality systems
