OverviewWe are seeking a motivated laboratory professional to support Container Closure Systems (CCS) development for parenteral and biologic drug products. This role supports sterile injectable packaging programs including monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and other biologics.
This is a hands‑on laboratory role focused on executing established Container Closure Integrity (CCI) methods. The position offers strong exposure to sterile packaging science within a collaborative global team environment.
This opportunity is best suited for early to mid‑career professionals looking to build or expand specialized expertise in CCI and parenteral packaging.
Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s Degree:
- 1 to 5 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, parenteral packaging, medical device packaging, or related industries preferred
Master’s Degree: relevant laboratory or packaging research
Not a Fit- PhD candidates
- Candidates with 15 to 20+ years of experience may be considered overqualified
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Physics, Material Science, Engineering, or related scientific discipline.
- Understanding of sterile injectable or parenteral drug product development.
- Familiarity with laboratory experimentation and analytical method execution.
- Basic knowledge of Container Closure Integrity (CCI) concepts preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple laboratory studies concurrently.
- Strong scientific documentation and reporting skills.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a lab‑based environment.
- Execute laboratory experiments supporting development and characterization of Container Closure Systems (vials, prefilled syringes, cartridges, lyophilized products).
- Perform Container Closure Integrity (CCI) testing using established methods.
- Support implementation and optimization of CCI techniques under supervision.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare technical reports.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and documentation.
- Support innovative CCS programs and development initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external laboratories, and suppliers.
- Ensure all work complies with GxP and internal procedural requirements.
- Follow laboratory safety and compliance protocols.
- Headspace Analysis
- Microscopy
- Blue Dye Testing
- Micro‑CT Imaging
Primary focus will be on Vacuum Decay and Headspace Analysis
