$90,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

This is a 0.5 FTE position, anticipating 18.5hrs per week. The Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) provides strategic and operational support for GME and CME at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) and Chicago Medical School (CMS).

Reporting to the Associate Dean for GME and CME and Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Assistant Dean supports the administration, accreditation, continuous improvement, and growth of GME programs and serves as a key operational leader for the institutional CME program.

The Assistant Dean works collaboratively with the Dean, Associate Dean/DIO, Program Directors, faculty, residents and fellows, the CME Committee, clinical affiliates, and university leadership to advance educational excellence, regulatory compliance, and institutional priorities.

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) is a six-college graduate health sciences university dedicated to the interprofessional education of health and biomedical professionals. Chicago Medical School (CMS), the original college of the six, has been educating physicians and furthering biomedical research for more than 100 years. • Support the Associate Dean/DIO in the administration and continuous improvement of institutional GME programs.
• Support ACGME institutional and program accreditation activities, including reporting, documentation, site visits, and follow‑up.
• Provide operational support and resources to residency and fellowship Program Directors and Coordinators.
• Assist with GME policies, procedures, committees, data collection, reporting, and program evaluation.
• Support initiatives related to resident and fellow education, engagement, professional development, and well‑being.
• Assist with the development of new residency and fellowship programs and opportunities for program growth.
• Support GME budget planning, resource management, and operational needs in collaboration with the Associate Dean/DIO.
• Coordinate GME‑related activities and communication with clinical affiliates and other institutional partners.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve GME processes, communication, and educational outcomes.

The Assistant Dean supports the institutional CME program in collaboration with the Associate Dean, CME Committee, faculty, clinical affiliates, and university leadership.
