This role involves applying advanced analytics and AI methods on EHR phenotyping data from clinicogenomic sources such as UK Biobank (UKBB) and Alliance for Genomic Discovery (AGD) datasets. The candidate will extract patient cohorts from the EHR data to enable Genome‑wide Association Studies (GWAS) and related applications, turning Abb Vie’s rich biobank resources into actionable insights.
Responsibilities- Curate and mine data using Linux command line.
- Apply advanced analytics to large‑scale biobank data.
- Write reusable scripts in R, Python, Spark, or SQL.
- Learn and implement existing automated EHR‑phenotyping workflows for longitudinal UK Biobank and AGD data.
- Communicate findings and collaborate effectively with team members.
- 2–3 years of experience (PhD) or 5 years (MSc) in data science or related field.
- Strong background in biostatistics or genetics.
- Experience with AI methodologies in genomics.
- Knowledge of large‑scale real‑world data and phenotyping.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
