Role: Five9 Platform Consultant / Solution Consultant / Platform Engineer Location: North Chicago, IL Type: Contract Job Description:

A Five9 CCaaS Platform Consultant (often titled Solution Consultant or Platform Engineer) acts as a technical expert responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Five9 cloud contact center solutions. They provide strategic advice, deliver product demonstrations,
configure IVR workflow s, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless integration with CRM platforms like Salesforce.

• Solution Design & Configuration: Architect and configure CCaaS solutions, including IVR, call routing, and user roles to meet customer business requirements.
• Technical Consulting: Act as the primary technical advisor during sales cycles or implementation, conducting Proofs-of-Concept (POCs).
• Implementation & Support: Manage user permissions, troubleshoot platform issues, and support go‑live/post‑deployment activities.
• Product Expertise: Deliver engaging demos and presentations on the Five9 suite to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Integration: Implement and troubleshoot third‑party CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot).
• Documentation & Training: Create configuration records, best practice guides, and train partners on new features.

• Experience: 2–3+ years of experience implementing or supporting CCaaS platforms (Five9 preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ACD, IVR, call routing, VoIP, and REST APIs.
• Education: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication skills for presenting to customers and internal teams.
• Travel: Ability to travel nationally for client meetings.

• Prior experience in consulting or managed services environments.
• Familiarity with other CCaaS platforms like NICE CXone, Zoom CX, or AWS Connect.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools.
