Data Analyst, Data Engineer
Responsibilities
- Independently design and develop data, software, or technology solutions to answer scientific or business questions. Demonstrate proficiency across a range of technologies related to programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, and data visualization and analysis.
- Understand the broad objectives of the project as well as their role in achieving those objectives and modify approach when required. Escalates open issues to ensure execution success and keeps stakeholders informed through effective verbal and written communication.
- Learn, understand and master new methods and technologies, and act as a resource or mentor for others.
- Effectively organize and present project objectives and progress. Contribute to technical publications and presentations.
- Obtain estimates/quotes from vendors and provide input into overall project time and cost estimates.
- Produce and maintain required technical documentation associated with work products.
- The candidate is expected to work cross functionally with various IT shared services teams, manufacturing site representatives, and QA Labs business stakeholders.
- Define Data, Reporting and AI strategies for Abb Vie QC Labs and outline value-based roadmaps to enable business insights and improve efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve technical problems using analytical problem-solving methods/techniques and associated tools/devices.
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field with 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent analytical, judgment and consultative capabilities and communication skills.
- Excellent communications and influencing skills with strong ability to balance differing stakeholder interests through sound analysis and persuasion.
- Should have experience configuring and deploying Lab Systems (LIMS, ELN, CDS, Inventory, Asset Management).
- Detailed understanding of relational databases, reporting databases, possesses SQL skills and coding skills (e.g., Python, C#, JSON).
- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

- This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
