Job Description

Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization provides accurate financial accounting and reporting for affiliates and business units. The FSS center for the EMEA region is based in Krakow, Poland and serves as the chief accounting and controllership function for all affiliates and manufacturing plants in the region.

Role purpose:
The Automation Expert will focus on building scalable AI and automation solutions to streamline manual processes, drive business process re‑engineering, and implement cutting‑edge automation solutions across the FSS organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify automation opportunities, analyze existing processes, document proposed solutions and implement.
  • Work with business partners to identify bottlenecks and AI/automation opportunities to resolve inefficiencies.
  • Assess AI/automation use cases, gather requirements, and design solution architecture.
  • Build scalable AI and automation solutions and rapid prototypes for operational use.
  • Design, implement and maintain automated workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored automation solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce error risk.
  • Develop and deploy AI‑driven automations such as chatbots to support intelligent process improvement and data‑driven decision making.
  • Monitor, test, and refine automated processes to align with business goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Train team members and end‑users on new AI and automation tools and updated workflows.
  • Stay ahead of emerging automation trends and best practices to continually improve FSS operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business process automation, process mining, or workflow optimization.
  • Proficient in automation platforms.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technology and AI projects with business processes.
  • Experience with Python (required), Power Automate, Power BI, and other automation tools.
  • Knowledge of AI‑driven automation concepts, platforms and architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Documented track record designing and delivering process automation solutions in a finance or shared services environment.
  • Effective communicator capable of training and supporting users on new technologies.
  • Innovative thinker passionate about process optimization and technology.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with experience working across business, IT, and compliance teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English required; additional languages are an asset.
  • Self‑motivated, quick learner, adaptable to change and new automation tools.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range described below is a range of possible base pay that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation will depend on many factors including geographic location. The range may be modified in the future.
