Position Overview
We are seeking a Banner Specialist to join our growing Digital Lab Banner Ad team supporting U.S. Commercial Marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the intersection of digital marketing operations, project management, and light creative production. Rather than developing campaigns from scratch, the Banner Specialist will focus on creating iterative banner advertisements, managing review workflows, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful deployment of digital marketing assets in a highly regulated environment.
This position is approximately 65% project management and stakeholder coordination and 35% banner production, making it an excellent fit for candidates with marketing operations, account management, digital marketing, or multimedia production experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage iterative banner ad content for A/B testing and optimization initiatives using an internal banner platform.
- Leverage existing banner assets by cloning, modifying, and updating content to support test-and-learn marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with Digital Lab Omnichannel Strategists and brand marketing teams to develop and align on banner testing concepts and optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate updates with internal creative agencies when graphic design modifications are required.
- Serve as the project originator and manage banner assets through the Material Review Process (MRP), ensuring compliance and approvals in a regulated environment.
- Conduct functional testing and quality assurance reviews prior to deployment.
- Partner with media agencies and deployment teams to ensure successful banner execution and launch.
- Maintain banner inventories and provide recommendations for enterprise-wide banner templates and reusable assets.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide feedback to the Banner Product Owner regarding platform enhancements and user experience improvements.
- Participate in agency collaboration sessions and share best practices for banner production and digital advertising operations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns, banner advertising, marketing operations, or creative production workflows.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working directly with internal stakeholders, clients, agencies, or cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and process management.
- Experience with in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with banner ad creation, digital advertising, A/B testing, and campaign optimization.
- Experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or similar image-editing software.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience working within digital marketing agencies, interactive agencies, or marketing operations environments.
