Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for driving value realization of the Microsoft 365 platform globally. The Senior Product Specialist partners closely with engineering to define standards, lead adoption, and manage end‑user relationships. As the face of the Collaboration Engineering team, this position champions the user experience, leads communication and change management, and develops long‑term strategies to mature user capabilities. By streamlining collaboration tools and eliminating redundancies, the role maximizes efficiency and ensures Abb Vie achieves the full potential of its Microsoft 365 investment.
Responsibilities- Drive value realization of the Microsoft 365 platform across the organization.
- Act as the face of the M365 product team, delivering clear direction to users on optimal usage of functionality and applications in support of the long‑term collaboration platform strategy.
- Build strong relationships with business units, leadership, and user communities to represent the voice of the user in platform decisions and manage expectations.
- Partner with engineering to align technical implementations for M365 applications with business usage and requirements.
- Lead functionality discovery and influence roadmap decisions based on the needs of the business and optimise highest value realization to Abb Vie.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase end‑user usage maturity, as well as identify and promote advanced use cases for M365 tools to maximise ROI.
- Identify and rationalise overlapping tools to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Develop and execute multi‑channel strategies for driving adoption of M365 features and tools and support continuous improvement through feedback loops and usage analytics.
- Assess functionality and act as the product functionality expert for M365 apps.
- For deployments, pilots, and evergreen updates, assess functionality, determine impact and create and deliver change, communication and training plans.
- Track adoption metrics, user feedback and business impact to refine product strategy.
- Provide executive‑level reporting on M365 initiatives and performance.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience;
Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience;
PhD with 0 years’ experience. - Respective demonstrated years of experience in IT with a focus on Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity applications in large organizations.
- Proven ability to partner with engineering teams on technical implementations.
- Proven ability to engage users across large enterprise‑wide M365 instances.
- Strong background in product ownership, change management, and user adoption strategies.
- Excellent presentation, training, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in tool rationalisation and cost optimisation.
- Experience leading enterprise‑level M365 deployments and integrations.
- Familiarity with Copilot, Teams Premium, Power Platform and workflow automation tools.
Preferred:
- 10+ years of experience in IT with a focus on Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity applications in large organizations.
- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
