The Electrical Maintenance Technician will maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. They will be required to work on a variety of electrical equipment ranging from lighting systems, to power distribution, and motors.

• Performs troubleshooting and repairs on all commercial and industrial equipment.
• Examples:
  Variable Frequency Drives, Motors and Controls, Power Distribution Systems, Lighting Management Systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a large variety of equipment including infrared scanning, static bonding and grounding.
• Communicates, through various means, such as email, voicemail, and maintenance management system (Maximo) the status of ongoing work activities.
• Will work with voltages up to 13,200V. Must have at a minimum experience with 480V.
• Adheres to Abbvie’s code of conduct.
• Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Assists in root cause investigation and reliability‑centered maintenance analysis.
• Capable of training others on tasks.
• Proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans.
• Fully proficient in core function, performing advanced level tasks.
• Assists cross‑functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
• Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.

• HS diploma with 5+ years of experience or relevant certificate with 3+ years experience or associate technical degree with 1+ year experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (e.g., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
  
  This range may be modified in the future.
