** The Opportunity*
* This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location within the GES Global Engineering Services division.

Responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes, completing tests and assignments, as well as delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.

** What You'll Work On*
* + Apprenticeships will complete involve on-the-job training in skilled trade areas, as well as attending as well as trade-related classes.

+ Must adhere to the business' set standards as well as comply to legal regulations.

+ Apprentices need to complete all homework to build their knowledge and skillset and to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship.

+ Apprentices need to follow all rules established by Abbott and the vocational school.

+ The processes and procedures of a company vary by sector, but apprentices are responsible for strictly adhering to these processes.

** Required Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or GED

+ Acceptance in related vocational school

The base pay for this position is $20.35 - $40.65 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
