Position: Manufacturing Supervisor I (2nd Shift-2:30pm-11pm)

Job Description

A2 Shift 2:30PM-11pm, Monday-Friday.

The Manufacturing Supervisor I role stands for basic knowledge and experience, leads and facilitates safe operations, ensures quality, meets regulatory requirements, achieves financial performance, and builds a culture of high performance.

Responsibilities
  • Safety:
    Create an environment where safety is the top priority, conduct safety checks, promote a culture of zero incidents, and comply with EHS requirements.
  • People:
    Deploy team members effectively, delegate tasks, train staff to job standards, conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and surveys, manage attendance and communication.
  • Operational:
    Coordinate shift activities to meet production schedule, ensure smooth handover to next manager.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, conduct material checks, line clearance, spot checks, and manage compliance issues.
  • Performance:
    Manage cycle time and change‑over time, continuously seek improvements.
  • Development:
    Provide training and progressive tasks, create development plans, promote growth mindset.
  • Operation Excellence (OpEx):
    Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Waste Management:
    Generate and manage non‑hazardous and hazardous waste per internal procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in sciences or engineering preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Two years of manufacturing or related experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality systems, cGMPs, and documentation in regulated environment; good writing skills.
  • Experience working in an aseptic production environment desirable (if applicable).
