Production Specialist I (Sunday - Thursday) 10:30pm to 7:00am

Abb Vie is a global research‑based biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative medicines. Production Specialists work in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical finishing operation to support safety, quality, and timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities- Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and facilitate a proactive safety culture.
- Perform housekeeping cleans on finishing lines, complete line clearances for lot and list changes, and blow lines/equipment on 1–2 value streams.
- Assist in setting up automated equipment in primary or secondary packaging areas on 1–2 value streams.
- Service and operate automated and semi‑automated manufacturing equipment to produce finished products with minimal supervision.
- Perform quality‑impacting tasks throughout the production run, including challenges, parameters, pulling samples, in‑process checks, and bulk/commodity accountability.
- Sustain 6S of parts and tooling across the production floor.
- Escalate higher‑level safety, quality, technical and operating issues in a timely manner to the appropriate groups.
- Communicate and drive improvement opportunities through cross‑functional teams; work closely with the production schedule and understand line priorities with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment‑related issues and perform minor adjustments to improve equipment efficiencies.
- High school education or GED required.
- Technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude preferred; technical certificate or degree preferred.
- Demonstrated focus on quality and compliance with site‑level policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate issues to appropriate engineering and mechanical teams.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs and applications.
- Experience with systems such as POMS, SAP, and MAXIMO preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements and procedures preferred.
- Requires standing 8–12 hours per day and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Work 40–48 hours per week; may work up to 60 hours depending on demands.
