Contract Duration: 12 Months

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week (Overtime as Needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Scientist I Analytical Chemistry to support pharmaceutical product development programs within a fast‑paced R&D environment. This role will focus on analytical testing, method execution, data interpretation, and laboratory support for both commercial and pipeline small‑molecule products.

This opportunity is ideal for an early‑career analytical chemist with hands‑on laboratory experience and a passion for pharmaceutical development and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical testing to generate accurate, reliable, and reproducible data.
  • Support development and characterization of commercial and pipeline small‑molecule pharmaceutical products.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation including:
    • HPLC
    • Gas Chromatography (GC)
    • Titration Systems
    • Spectroscopic Instruments
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to support project objectives.
  • Investigate analytical challenges and assist in method optimization and problem resolution.
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments under established protocols.
  • Author technical reports, protocols, and scientific documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records using electronic laboratory notebooks and laboratory systems.
  • Present findings and experimental results to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, laboratory procedures, and data integrity standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience in analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical development.
  • Hands‑on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, titrations, and spectroscopy.
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.
