R&D Technician

Position: R&D Technician I # 26-16114

Duration: 6 months

Job Responsibilities:

• High output transfer of compounds with tracking.
• Documentation of all work in Microsoft Excel.
• Receiving and stocking of laboratory supplies.
• Disposal of laboratory waste products.

Accountability/Scope:

• Completes daily responsibilities as assigned by lab head.
• Adherence to EHS safety mandates.

Skills:

• Attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task within an environment of shifting deadlines and demands.
• Familiarity with laboratory balances and practices.
• Able to work independently and within a team setting.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Working with potentially hClientardous materials, PPE required.
• No previous industry experience is required.

Education:

• AS or BS in scientific field (Chemistry or Biology preferred).
