Position Overview
Part‑time role (approx. 20 hours per week) at 4531 N Broadway, BMO Retail Banking Sales & Service. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional service, identifying customer needs, providing advice, collaborating with branch partners, and supporting operational activities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
- Identify customer needs; provide advice and guidance regarding financial solutions best suited to customers.
- Collaborate within the branch and with BMO partners to deliver desired customer experience and achieve business objectives.
- Act as a lobby leader: greet customers, offer digital and self‑serve options, conduct client conversations, recommend alternative banking channels, and provide personal banking and investment advice.
- Meet transaction‑based needs with seamless execution.
- Review customer profiles and engage in needs‑based conversations to identify opportunities and address everyday banking, plans, and credit card needs.
- Contribute to branch business results and overall customer experience.
- Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, follow‑up on customer applications, filing, opening and closing activities.
- Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations to provide strategic advice.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of work information; take initiative to find creative approaches and continuously improve customer experience.
- Participate in multiple branches or channels as market needs require; schedule may vary week to week.
- Follow risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard customers’ assets, maintain privacy, and act in best interest.
- Stay current on financial services marketplace, legal and regulatory environment, and ethical requirements.
- Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering, and comply with regulatory and jurisdictional requirements.
- Complete complex, diverse tasks within given rules/limits; analyze issues, determine next steps, and elevate as necessary.
- Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Canada only:
Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months). - Confidence and experience using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
- Some experience in consultative customer service or sales roles with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.

Salary: $41,714.00 – $50,500.00 (salaried). Salaries are prorated for part‑time roles based on hours regularly worked. Pay may include commission structure and performance‑based incentives.
