Job Summary

We are seeking a Chemist III for a 1-year, fully on-site opportunity in North Chicago, IL (Monday-Friday, standard business hours). This role offers an exciting environment to lead analytical method development, troubleshoot complex separations, and drive drug characterization forward.

- Develop, validate, and troubleshoot analytical separation methods utilizing HPLC, GC, and LC/MS.
- Perform complex impurity profiling and characterization for pharmaceutical drug candidates.
- Plan and execute laboratory tasks to generate precise, reproducible data in full cGMP/GLP compliance.
- Author robust testing protocols and document experimental procedures per regulatory standards.
- Present analytical findings and data interpretations to interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, Masters with 2+ years, or Ph.D. with 5+ years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience.
- Strong technical background in analytical chemistry with hands-on expertise in HPLC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry.
- Experience with chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower, Openlab, Chromeleon).
- Solid understanding of organic structures, functional groups, and spectroscopic techniques.
- Familiarity with cGMP/GLP regulatory standards and high-quality documentation practices.
- Hands-on experience with peptide characterization, analysis, and dissolution method development.
- Background in pharmaceutical drug product testing (solid oral dosage formulations).
