The Supervisor, Security Systems will be responsible for enterprise‑wide security systems including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and other programs required for the protection of Abb Vie resources and assets. The role provides strategic guidance and tactical support for new installations, upgrades, and problem resolution at Abb Vie sites globally, collaborating with internal functions and external service providers.

• Accountable for planning, development, and deployment of security systems for Abb Vie locations globally.
• Develop and communicate long‑range security system deployment plans across the enterprise.
• Provide technical expertise for project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, and support of security systems; responsible for project budgets.
• Evaluate and benchmark Abb Vie's security system posture against industry standards and recommend improvements.
• Maintain relationships and performance standards with third‑party integrators and contractors.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures and training related to security systems, ensuring compliance with CDC and DEA regulations.
• Lead and develop a security systems team responsible for access control, technical support, system upgrades, and other initiatives.
• Manage global installations and conversions of access control systems, coordinating with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and departmental policies and pursue necessary system certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 7–8 years of experience in security systems implementation, deployment, or integration.
• Progressive leadership experience managing large and complex projects and teams.
• Proof of project management ability and experience leading a qualified security systems team.
• Genetec certification (or equivalent).
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.

Base pay for this role will be determined by the job grade and location. The compensation range is a possible base pay range and may change. Abb Vie offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan (eligible employees). The position is eligible to participate in short‑term incentive programs.
