Job DescriptionHours/Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Rotating Shift – 4 days on/4 days off)
Independently perform senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Train lower‑level technicians on more advanced tasks.
Responsibilities- Adhere to Abb Vie's code of conduct and maintain department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
- Assist in root cause investigation and reliability‑centered maintenance analysis, train others on tasks, and create or edit maintenance job plans.
- Perform advanced level tasks in core function with intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
- Assist cross‑functional teams outside the maintenance organization; support continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the organization and/or the site.
- Understand and follow all safety and GMP regulations.
- High school diploma with 10+ years of experience, or relevant certificate with 5+ years of experience, or associate technical degree with 3+ years of experience; or proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
- CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
- Knowledge of advanced tools (machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
- Proficiency in the setup, use, repair, and replacement of I/O or BAS controlled systems (Current to Pressure Transducers, Controller Boards, Actuators, Valves, Dampers, Electric Pressure Switches, Pressure Current Sensors, Temperature to Current Sensors, and Humidity to Current Sensors).
- Working knowledge of HVAC/R validation/commissioning process.
- Ability to analyze and interpret electrical diagrams for 24
Vac, 120
Vac, and 460
Vac. - Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing walk‑in coolers and freezers.
- Use of advanced refrigeration calculations (superheat, subcooling).
- Experience with Beacon 2 smart controllers and Intelli Gen systems (Heatcraft) is a plus.
- Certified by the Federal EPA for refrigerant reclaiming equipment operation and proper disposal of refrigerants.
- Valid driver’s license.

CompensationThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
