Responsibilities

As a driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle, providing reliable and efficient public transportation.

• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must have CDL B with passenger endorsement.
• Possess excellent communication and decision‑making skills.

• $21 per hour starting rate.
• All shifts available – service runs 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 5 days per week.

• Retirement: 401(k) and union pension – company contributes to WCT pension for each hour paid up to 2,080 hours per calendar year.
• Paid time off: 0 months – year 2 = 1.538 bi‑weekly accrual, 40 yearly accrual cap.
• Paid holidays: 8 paid holidays.
• Paid sick leave: 1 hour per 30 hours for all full‑time employees.
• Referral bonuses: $1,000 driver referral ($500 upon training completion, $500 upon completion of probationary period); $1,000 mechanic referral ($500 upon training completion, $500 upon completion of probationary period).
