Warehouse Specialist II

Overview

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a prominent client. This position is located in North Chicago, IL (ZIP code 60064).

• Pay is $23/hr to Start!
• 1 Year Assignment with potential for conversion based on performance and budget
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 100% Onsite;
  Occasional Weekend work
• This position is primarily responsible for picking and packing clinical supplies and ancillary materials, generating courier labels, and processing clinical shipment requests in a timely manner.
• This position is also responsible for maintaining retained materials in their proper locations, keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, processing material destruction requests, and ensuring a safe working environment within the warehouse and assigned office areas.
• Performs recycling of returned passive shipping systems, completes simple commodity and drug receipt verification, and conducts daily replenishment of phase change components.

• HS graduate or GED with 2+ years of warehouse/inventory experience is required.
• Inventory management or inventory cycle count experience preferred.
• 1+ year of forklift or other material handling equipment experience (e.g., cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack) preferred.
• Having a PIT certification is preferred.
• Experience with inventory management software, including ERP systems (RF Scan Gun, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle), MS Excel, and proprietary software is preferred.
