Role:
Data Entry & TAP Support Specialist | Front Desk Data Entry & TAP Administrative Support for MFRC (Military Family & Readiness Center) at Minot AFB, ND. This is a contract contingent/W-2 arrangement; potential conversion to a full-time W-2 position.

The role supports front desk data entry, TAP administrative support, and program services in the Defense & Security Industry Sector, focusing on program/project management solutions for USAF MFRC at Minot AFB and surrounding Midwest regions.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Receive telephone calls and greet visitors; determine needs and route to appropriate staff.
  • Provide nontechnical program information on MFRC services and TAP-related offerings with tact and courtesy.
  • Ensure customers complete required forms and maintain customer flow.
  • TAP Administrative Support & Scheduling: Maintain M&FRC Outlook appointment calendar; schedule TAP workshops and counseling sessions; track attendance, sign-in rosters, and suspense dates; follow up on routine requests.
  • Data Entry / Case Tracking: Perform data entry and updates in AFFIRST and TAP ACCESS (and related trackers); create/revise spreadsheets and reports; retrieve data for routine reporting.
  • Correspondence / Reporting: Prepare recurring/nonrecurring correspondence, reports, memos, letters, and forms; proofread/edit; consolidate information for reports per procedures.
  • Records Management (Primary Record Custodian): Establish, maintain, purge, and dispose of records/files IAW AFI 33-322 and Air Force Records Disposition Schedule; maintain file plans; manage publications/technical orders; handle FOIA/Privacy Act awareness.
  • Office Automation / Technical Support: Use office applications to produce documents; assist with training; perform basic troubleshooting; may create simple macros.
  • Security / Property Accountability: Safeguard government property; follow security rules; comply with Minot AFB access requirements.
  • Administrative Support For M&FRC: Schedule TAP, track participants, maintain records, greet clients, support reporting and compliance, ensure privacy of information, and manage sign-in logs and case files.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 1–3 years administrative support, front desk, customer service, and/or data entry experience.
  • 6–12 months experience supporting a customer-facing office with scheduling, correspondence, and records.
  • Education / Experience: Minimum:
    High School Diploma or GED. Preferred:
    Associate degree or coursework in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field.
  • Security/Compliance: Ability to obtain/maintain network access via TASS (background check and training) and base vehicle pass; comply with Minot AFB security requirements; handle sensitive information with Privacy Act/FOIA considerations.
  • Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry accuracy; spreadsheet/database maintenance; grammar/spelling/formatting; records management; attention to detail; professional communication; organization; customer focus; integrity and confidentiality; adaptability (AFFIRST/TAP ACCESS); teamwork; compliance with AFIs and policies.
