Deputy Recorder​/Deputy Clerk of Court

The Eddy County Recorder/Clerk of District Court Office is accepting applications for a part time position as Deputy Recorder/Deputy Clerk for approximately 20 hours a week. Wage is DOE.

Qualification/Requirements:

• Someone who is professional, personable, and dependable
• Must have excellent computer skills; must have the ability to navigate and understand the software that is used for each department;
• Must be able to learn and apply procedures and rules; pays attention to detail ensuring accuracy of work; and adapts quickly to frequent changes.
• Ability to review documents to determine conformity to court procedures and rules.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma
• Experience with in the district court, a law office or related legal setting is preferred, but not required.
