Role Description/Criteria
Nazareth College is seeking a highly professional

, and dynamic Receptionist to join our vibrant Catholic learning community. As the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive and inclusive experience for all who engage with our College. THE ROLE
This is more than a traditional front desk role. As Receptionist, you will act as a frontline ambassador for the College, ensuring every interaction reflects our Catholic identity, commitment to child safety, and culture of excellence. You will contribute to a highly effective administrative environment and support the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the College.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide a warm, professional, and responsive front office experience for all visitors and callers.
- Manage enquiries efficiently, resolving or redirecting them promptly.
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and administrative systems to a high standard.
- Ensure strict compliance with child safety, visitor management, and confidentiality protocols.
- Support the coordination and administration of College events and activities.
- Collaborate closely with staff to contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
- Uphold and model the values and mission of a Catholic learning community.
You are an organised, approachable professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and genuinely enjoys helping others. You will be available to start at the beginning of Term 3, Monday 13 July 2026 (or earlier).
You will bring:
- A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and values.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational capability with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and administrative systems (school systems highly regarded).
- A proactive, flexible approach and a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
- A deep commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.
Experience in a similar front‑facing or administrative role will be highly regarded.
